Knocking Out Your To-Do-List and Not Getting To Everything... It's Fine

If you had an extra 12 hours a day, how would you use them? Would you keep tackling that never-ending To-Do List, or spend some of that time playing video games with your children? For us, it's been a balance of family time and constantly improving the site behind the scenes. On top of knocking out your daily list, there's always time needed to squeeze in a blog post. You just have to stay active when there are more than 600 million blogs worldwide competing for attention. Haha

It's been a while... but we're still here. We're continuing to improve the site, expand our product offerings, and get ready to run plays deep into the fourth quarter. We recently surpassed 200 items in the shop, and we're just warming up. Other projects on the To-Do List included cleaning up sections of the website and making improvements to the overall shopping experience. Even though it sometimes feels like small steps, I can see the growth every time I step back and look at the bigger picture. Traffic is growing. The brand awarness is growing. The graphic library is growing.

One of the biggest additions to our collection was the introduction of our Walking Patriot Character with a Tricorne Hat. It started as sketch after sketch, idea after idea, until I finally decided to commit to one version and bring it across the finish line.

Overall, I hope this inspires others to take it a little easier when working through that never-ending list. As independent business owners, nothing gets done without our input, approval, or effort. As your journey expands, make sure you're paying attention to your health, your mindset, and your overall well-being. Make time to read even if its for 10 minutes. 

As things continue to evolve, we're also exploring the potential of AI and other creative tools to help expand the business and assist in creating unique content across all A Cool City social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and our recently launched X account, @acoolcitybrand.

The truth is, your To-Do List never stops growing. You just have to keep chipping away at it one or two tasks at a time whenever you can. As always, I'm excited about the new designs we're releasing, the new cities we're adding, and the continued growth of A Cool City. I'm also looking forward to sharing a brand-new design from my daughter soon.
